HOW TO CHOOSE HEADPHONES FOR THE WORKPLACE:
Protective noise-canceling headphones protect the operator from harmful noise by reducing the sound level, measured in decibels, by the value of the SNR parameter.
The upper limit for an 8-hour working day is set at 85 dB.
If average workplace noise measurements exceed this value, then you should have headphones with an SNR setting that will reduce the noise level to 85 dB or less.
If we assume that we will work all the time with headphones with an SNR of 32 and in a working environment with a noise level of 116 dB, then we will reduce the noise to 84 dB.
If the operator wears headphones for more than ten minutes, then more attention should be paid to the design elements that increase the comfort of wearing them.
