  • Condition: Very good vintage. The inner sole liners have come loose and need to be glued down, easy fix. No scuffing or suede loss on the heels. Rhinestone accents are all in place. Ankle straps are a little stiff but not cracking, and the suede is soft. The buckles are a little stiff but not rusted. Heels are half worn down on the very bottom which is the place that the shoemaker adds a new little heel replacement. They still have lots of wear in them before that needs to be repaired.     Description

    This is a nice pair of 1940s, black, suede, peep toe, platform shoes with very high heels.  The shoes are decorated with tiny  little rhinestones across the toes and oval shaped cutouts.  The heels are very high as are the platforms.  They have buckle up ankle straps.
    The condition is good.  Some heel wear but no scuffing on the suede or balding or stains anywhere.  She soles show wear.  Sole inner liners have dried out and come away from the shoes so they need to be gorilla glued back down.  The ankle straps are stiff from not being used but are not cracked and should soften with use.  The metal buckles are not rusted but are stiff and need movement to get the straps through more easily.
    The shoes measure 10 1/8th inches along the inner sole from toe end to end of heel.  The ball of the foot measures 3" across at the widest part.  The inner strap is printed with the numbers and the letter:  "8 5 B" which I translate to an eight and a half B width.  The heels measure 4 1/2" tall, and the platforms measure 1 1/4" tall.
