    Description

Malcomb Tennant design, special ordered in 1982,  Wild Thing, hull number 1,she was built in New Zealand by famous builder Sowman, he also built Black Magic which won the Americas Cup.
She was shipped to Canada,  where her custom built trailer was fitted,
Never had an engine, even though there is a spot for one, she was sailed off a fresh water mooring, and has never seen salt water.
Bought for the Race to Alaska, she has been stored as the race was cancelled for 2020.
Her original sails are in very good condition, as she was only sailed in the summer vacation months, her interior is near new, daggerboard and rudder are also pieces of art, kept in gigantic suitcases.
At 3500 lbs, very few boats can match her speed, double spreader rotating mast keeps her sailing faster than the wind.
    Cambered, nomex decks!
She could WIN the Chicago to Mac, R2AK, Farallon island, Three bridge fiasco races.
